Explications sur cette peinture d’art Aborigène :

Sally (Liki) Nanii (1930), came into Bidyadanga as a young girl with her brother Meridoo in the 1960's. Her father took her away from her mother to take her to Bidyadanga, which was very sad for her. Her mother cried and didn't see Liki again. Very sadly Liki had a stroke in 2007 and unfortunately was no longer able to paint since then.

Here she is painting her birthplace at Kirriwirri.
