I've used silver to show the power and energy of the country. To show what lies beneath the surface: the culture, the stories, songs and dances.

The objects I chose - old tyres, discarded and forgotten - speak of their history, their use, their life-cycle. The land and its energy gives life to something long thought dead. Ngura nyangatja wanka ngaranyi (This country is alive)
