Simon has depicted country he associates with the significant site of Lingka. A site that holds the Walawaru Tjukurpa (Wedge Tailed Eagle Creation LIne).

Simon talks of the wanari (mulga trees) that take up water from Lingka and surrounding sites of Paltju, Tjining, Pirilyi and others, as having a symbiotic relationship with the land and people. Simon walked these sites and others on a seasonal route with his imidiate family before being moved as a result of British Nuclear Testing at Maralinga to the east.
